What is an Exercise/Fluff Test?

As the name implies, the exercise/fluff leak test is used as a settling or seating step in order to condition the part before a test program is initiated.

How is an Exercise/Fluff Test performed?

Enough air pressure is applied to the test part to produce the requisite motion or movement of the part component. The part is then vented through the two-way valve and the cycle is restarted.

Once the appropriate number of cycles has been completed, valve, V2 is closed and any leak will be detected using pressure sensor, PS.
