Windshifting - Air seperation for (recycling) materials
Wind shifting is a technique that is applied to many recycling and processing lines. A windshifter uses an air knife with blower and blows an air stream through the material. Due to the difference in shape and size, the heavy materials are separated from the light ones. The heavy materials are not affected while the lighter materials are blown further by the airflow towards the discharge / extraction nozzle.
Our Paxton air knife systems and blowers are perfect for this application. They are already used in various industries. From a food company for separating filled and unfilled packaging to the transport sector for separating sand. We are convinced that we can also offer the right solution for your application.
