Sikkens® Scratch Tool for cutting panels 

Scratch / Cutting tool designed specifically for cutting panels in preparation for salt spray testing, as described in the standards ISO 9227 ,ISO 12944-6:2018 & ISO 17872

Ascotts Sikkens® Scratch tool is supplied as standard with 3 x tungsten carbide blades which are interchangeable according to the standard you need to comply to:

• 0.5 mm. Blade, Daimler Chrysler.
• 1 mm. Blade, Sikkens® original version
• 2 mm. Blade, complies with standard ISO 12944-6:2018

The blade is positioned by an adjustable guide block to assist cutting a straight line. The guide block can be easily adjusted using the Allen keys provided. The tool features a soft grip ergonomically designed handle for ease of use and is supplied in a carry case.
