Pass Thru Heat Sealer: TA12-P/2

CeraTek TA12-P/2 Heat Sealer is a precision pass-thru heat sealer. The maximum pass-thru width and the maximum recommended seal width are 11.5”. The machine design allows both front-to-back and lateral pass-thru capabilities.  The cycle is activated with a locking foot switch circuit.  Safety features include zero access guarding and an e-stop circuit.

• Short Cycle Indicator a “short cycle” fault will illuminate to notify the operator. This feature will disable the sealer if a cycle is terminated before the entire dwell time has elapsed, indicating to the operator that the last seal cycle was incomplete. The sealer is re-enabled by pressing the fault reset button on the front panel.
• High/Low Temperature Alarm will disable the sealer if the seal temperature is outside the process window. Both high and low alarm set points can be entered.
• High/Low Pressure Alarm will disable the sealer if the seal pressure is outside the process window. Both high and low alarm set points can be entered.
• Panel mounted manual pressure regulator to adjust the regulated seal pressure. Can be replaced with an optional electronic pressure regulator. 
• Heater Failure Alarm will disable the sealer and display a “Temperature Fault” alarm message on the HMI if a heater cartridge fails. The power is monitored to detect a blown fuse, SSR failure or cartridge failure.

• External Output Ports to test ports (temperature, pressure and dwell time) on the side of the machine are used for process control validation and calibration. Three thermocouple output ports provide seal bar temperature data for right, left and center point signals.
• Three position key-switch lockout restricts operator access to the parameter set-up screens for temperature, time and pressure and all alarm reset screens on the process control system.
• Pneumatic exhaust is piped to a muffler on the back of the unit. The muffler can be easily removed to pipe exhaust outside a clean room.
